SECRET HEROES are a four-piece coming up with highly energetic heavy metal rock the way you haven't heard it in a long time. The debut album "Loose, High & Free" is an exciting collection of fresh sounding high energy rock and metal tracks with switch-blade sharp guitar riffs, heavily pounding rhythm work and highly recognizable melodies with strong choruses on top of them.

SECRET HEROES (from left) - Ryan Heart (guitars), Fred Carson (vocals), Gero Harms (guitars, keyb) and Volker Meyer (drums).

SECRET HEROES are (from left) Ryan Heart,
Fred Carson, Lydia LaBelle and Volker Meyer.

Lyrically, the debut "Loose, High & Free" is an album like a road movie, with songs about freedom and adventure, about restless life on endless desert highways and in dark city back streets, at Vegas gambling tables and in wild table dance bars.

Artist History
SECRET HEROES were formed by lead guitarist and songwriter Ryan Heart to bring heavy metal rock'n'roll in the great tradition of bands like Van Halen, Guns'n'Roses or Aerosmith back to life, give its great energy a new edge and take its sound to the digital age of the 21st century. It took more than a year to finish recording and mixing the debut album "Loose, High & Free", which is set to be released February 23rd, 2004. Most of the songs were written and recorded at the band members' homes in London, England, and Westerstede, Germany. Sadly, drummer Volker Meyer, long-time companion of all band members, died in June 2002 before he could finish his work on the album. The powerful drums on "Loose, High & Free" were meant to be his legacy in eternity. May he rest in peace.
